There’s a bit of legal stuff involved, but don’t stress—that’s what I’m here for! As a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant, I’ll guide and help you through everything step by step.
First things first:
You both need to be over 18 (unless you have a court order and are at least 16).
You can’t be closely related to each other.
If you tick those boxes, we’re good to go!Here’s how it all works:
Lodging a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
This must be completed and given to me at least one month before your wedding (and no more than 18 months in advance).
If you’re in Perth, we can do this in person. If not, don’t worry—I’ll explain how we can sort it remotely!
Providing Identification:
A passport is the easiest option.
If you don’t have one, you’ll need a birth certificate plus another form of ID (like a driver’s licence or proof of age card).
If you’ve been married before, I’ll need to see your divorce papers or a death certificate.
Signing a DeclarationBefore the ceremony, you’ll sign a Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage, confirming there’s no legal reason you can’t get hitched.
The Ceremony:
I’ll read a legal statement called The Monitum.
You’ll say the required Legal Vows.
You, your two witnesses (18+), and I will sign the official marriage documents.
After the Wedding:
I’ll submit all the paperwork to the official registry in the state where you were married—so you can relax and enjoy married life!

Got a favorite beach? A hidden gem in the hills? A special spot in the park? No problem! Wherever you dream of saying "I do," I’ll be there to make it happen. 💍✨
Every ceremony is so much more than just the big day—behind the scenes, I spend 20–25 hours carefully crafting a one-of-a-kind ceremony script that reflects your story, your love, and your vision. I pour my heart into making sure every word feels personal, meaningful, and just right for you.
Having personally experienced both an intimate wedding while heavily pregnant and a commitment ceremony with 100+ guests just a few months later, I truly understand how important it is to have a celebrant who makes your day feel extra special.
Once you’ve chosen me as your celebrant, here’s how payments work:
💰 Booking Fee – $200 to secure your date (this is deducted from the final balance).
💰 Final Payment – Due 30 days before your ceremony (or 2 days before a memorial service).
💰 Funerals & Memorial Services – $500, with payments handled directly through the funeral home for funerals and payment made in full to me 48hrs before ceremony.
Package Options:
✨ Full Wedding or Commitment Ceremony Experience – $800 total ($200 deposit, $600 due 30 days before your wedding).
✨ Short & Sweet Wedding or Commitment Ceremony – $600 total ($150 deposit, $450 due 30 days before your wedding).
Master of Ceremonies (MC) Services:
🎤 If you’d love me to keep the vibes flowing at your reception, I also offer MC services at $100 per hour.
I completely understand that weddings come with lots of expenses, and I want to make payments as stress-free as possible. If a smaller, more manageable payment plan would work better for you, just let me know—I’m happy to help.
All payment details will be clearly outlined on your invoice, so there are no surprises. 😊
If I’m not at least an hour early, I’m late—well, that’s how I see it! 😆
Being on time is super important to me, so you can count on me to arrive at least an hour before your ceremony starts—probably even earlier.
This gives me plenty of time to:
✔️ Welcome any early guests
✔️ Touch base with your other vendors
✔️ Meet with both of you separately to sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment (if we haven’t already done this at a rehearsal)
I’ll be there well ahead of time, fully prepared, and ready to make sure everything runs smoothly so you can just focus on enjoying your big moment! 😊

Choosing the right celebrant is such an important part of your day, and I want to make sure we’re the perfect fit.
I offer a completely obligation-free 30-minute chat where we can:
✔️ Talk about your vision for the day
✔️ Get to know each other a little
✔️ See if we’re the right match
After that, I leave it up to you both to decide. If you feel I’m the celebrant for you, we’ll set up a face-to-face meeting to start the legal paperwork (Notice of Intended Marriage) and get things rolling.
From there, I’m available anytime throughout the process to answer your questions, offer guidance, and make sure you feel completely comfortable and excited for your big day! 😊

A Full Civil Marriage Ceremony usually takes around 30 minutes, although this can vary depending on the elements included. A Short & Sweet Ceremony typically lasts about 15- 20minutes.
I’m passionate about traveling, particularly for weddings! My ceremony fees cover up to 50km from Perth's CBD. For locations beyond this range, an additional small fee may apply, depending on the distance and timing, and will be customized accordingly.

I’m happy to send you a copy of your ceremony script before the big day. This can be a great way to ease any nerves and get familiar with what to expect. However, I will suggest we leave out some key elements, like your personalized story and personal vows, as these are best experienced for the first time with your loved ones, creating those special, organic moments on the day.

Once you’re ready to secure your date, a deposit of $200 for a Full Package or $150 for a Short & Sweet Wedding Package will lock me in for your big day. From there, we’ll get started on creating a memorable ceremony that’s uniquely yours!
For funerals and memorial services, due to the sensitive nature of these events, the process is a little different.
If you need my services, please reach out, and I will arrange to meet with you as soon as possible—usually the next day.
